Happy New year 2023! Mom, What Makes Me Sick? has arrived! The paperback is being sold for zero profit to the author (what I term "print cost") as a service to humanity. Buy extra copies of the paperback and pass them out to friends and family. If you want to support the author you can purchase the hardcover.
Work Has Begun! Peach Pit, our next book is in the works. Expect its release this summer.
Notice: Scene 18 (Lab Notes Scene) in MOM, WHAT MAKES ME SICK? has been changed, as of May 31, 2023. My apologies to all who purchased the book before that date. The original scene was based on a sentence from a book whose author now concedes should have been written differently. My interpretation of the book’s sentence was not what the author intended to convey. I rewrote the scene and made new artwork, removing the part that was based on the sentence. If anyone who purchased MWMMS wants more detail on this matter just contact me and I will be happy to explain.
Peach Pit is Here! On August 12, 2023 this 47 scene children's book was released. Peach Pit is a wonderful story that was inspired by the biblical story of Joseph. As usual, Katarina did an amazing job with the artwork!
Elephant Hunter is Here! On Jan 9, 2024 we published this wonderful new adventure. All 28 scenes are two-page spreads. Katarina's artwork is fantastic as usual.
Rat & Rattlesnake is Here! On Jan 25, 2024 we published this super fun story about two friends embarking on a life of crime. Most scenes are two-page spreads. Again, Katarina did an amazing job.
The Dark Shark is Here! On April 24, 2025 we published our longest children's book to date. It's a touching story about a persecuted shark who banished by a Criminal King. Katarina, again, did an amazing job.
Capernaum Synagogue Is Here! On July 31, 2025 we published our longest booklet to date. It reveals an amazing discovery in the Gospel of John, having to do with Jesus's Bread of Life interaction.

Snow Flurry Scene by Katarina Stevanovic
Any fantasy novel set in Oka Irathace's world is a Treeworld book. The upcoming prequel to the Oka Irathace series, the Flower Sarasa series, is also a Treeworld book, with plenty of dolphins and sea sled action. And thus, Toybox Books Publishing wanted a nice logo with which to stamp these novels. The brilliant graphic designer Adeeba Sial conceived of this amazing logo, where a tree's root becomes a wave, and blowing leaves are reminiscent of sea spray. Just as the books unify sea and forest, so to does this logo.
The emblem of the Brotherhood of dolphin callers is very important to the Oka Irathace series. This emblem appears on Oka's sea sled and a in number of other places. This wonderful wooden ornament was illustrated by the talented artist Madison Brake. The basic concept design was created by Caitlyn Bhold. Many thanks to Madison and Caitlyn.

Oka Irathace's famous sea sled--the one pulled by his team of seven sky porpoises--was beautifully illustrated by the exceptional concept artist Connor Duggan. Connor's design is featured on the cover of Dolphin Caller, Book I of the Oka Irathace series.
Our Toybox Books Logo was designed by creative artist and professional designer Dunja Ilic. She is also a Serbian and a good friend of Katarina.
Scanners are the bane of beautiful watercolor artwork, often leaving it "washed-out." But that's where Aleksandra Radulović comes in. Another talented Serbian, this photo enhancement expert lovingly and respectfully adjusts each image to bring out its intended beauty, helping to present Diem's and Katarina's creation's in their best light.
No fantasy novel is complete without a map or two. And thanks to Brazilian digital artist and architect David Moliveira, my books have them. David painstakingly constructed maps for each leg of Oka's epic journey and adventure, including special icons for places of special importance and interest.
